The More Store is a joke since they lifted the capacity limit. 24 people and carts in a floor space that can safely handle about 10… so dangerous.

I would read this wether you're in need or a working staff member.Personally, I have not needed such services in my life however I've had friends and family that I've clearly known and visited, that have.Nonetheless, when I read comments below my very own review, that are similar to the experiences my friends have endured. .Kind of outrages me?Once again, the way I see it is you've got a beautiful concept of helping those in need, however, the STAFF and WORKING PEOPLE there will act in ways that make me want to say or do a lot of things.It's not uncommon or untold of, about how ignorant and unacceptable these staff members are. It is just another group of incompetent, rude and lazy individuals in this terrible city, mistreating and taking advantage of those in need of help the most.It can even get so bad, that they will take advantage of your rights - such as harass you, steal from you or simply take advantage of you in general by ignoring you or treat in you like your 6 years old, only BECAUSE of your desperate situation that you are clearly in and therefore, can not do anything about it. So they do this without 'consequence'.I highly suggest a lawsuit toward them, and for you to find a better shelter. This place is no good for you, and unfortunate as it is to say it;Truthfully, the staff who think themselves as people" are just horrid and disrespectful individuals. Kind of like an evil little sister who does wicked psychopathic stuff to her younger brother behind closed doors . . But mom & dad think her to be an angel at the dinner table because she presents well.I sincerely hope you read this. Thank you.As for the mistreating Staff at this place?I'm not religious but as the old saying goes;"You can burn in hell" for making these people have harder lives. You're scum. Have a terrible day. This is my go to place to take household donations because you know they are going directly to folks who can use them. Everyone I have spoken with is very welcoming and grateful.

In the summer of 2021 I found myself in the hospital with no where to turn. Praise be to God that a few doors started to open and I found myself at Hope For Freedom. Even though they were full they still made room for me somehow and now over a year later they are still able to support me in my recovery. I am very grateful for the non-militant approach to everything and the grace that comes with it. Thank you to everyone involved with the society!

I do not recommend this place I’d give it 0 stars if I could nobody should live here homeless or not

Excellent staff some of the most helpful people I've ever met ... Also the residents are all like minded friendly people...Who are trying to get back on their feet ...Best shelter in lower mainland forsure

Very unprofessional let ppl steal and Rob you blind and don't do nothing about it when standing for yourself kick u out when ppl stand up for others they backstab you when you stand up for your grounds and legal rights they get mad at u

I organize my parish to be a meal team here and I always receive positive feedback from the volunteers who come to prepare and serve the meal. I highly recommend you organize a meal team and serve.

One of the greatest respite places in Toronto the staff work very hard I'm trying to get the clients to where they need to go have a great shower program Grace rate housing connection good Cooks and very nutritious meals it's a great place to be when you have no place to go to God bless the people at Margaret's place
